Who was styled the best?

It's Here

Ladies, ladies, ladies....it's finally Fall!!!! Don't we just live for the fashion, events, but most importantly the beauty of Fall? I've been searching through dozens of magazines and cosmetics counters, and it looks like this season we will feel femine and soft again.

So, if you're planning on making a fashionably, unforgetable appearance at an event this Fall, I have the inside scoop on what will keep you looking fresh, radiant, and unforgettable. I want to stress the importance of finding the right foundation for our skin tones. If there's one thing that makes me cringe on sight, it's definitely seeing a beautiful face matched with the wrong foundation.

We know that our skin changes with the seasons, so it's important that we transition our makeup kits. When choosing the proper shade, you can try two methods. One method is to swipe three different shades that are all similar to your skintone on your cheek. The color that fades, or blends the best, is the the winner. Another method is to swipe the three colors on the neck, sometimes (especially in women of color) our skin is hyperpigmented, and when we apply foundation it may give great coverage for our face, but how well does it match the shade of the neck? We don't want to walk around looking like two-toned monsters. So, before you do anything concerning your makeup regime, make sure your foundation is the perfect match.

"A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future. "

According to the author of female sophistication, Ms. Coco Chanel, "A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future. " I know, it sounds a little harsh, but think about it? You have to tap into all five senses in order to leave a lasting impression. One great thing about Fall is that it brings warm scents. Every top beauty brand is debuting fall scents that make the perfect transition for the season. You know there are the usuals, the Chanels, YSLs (although Parisienne is my personal favorite), etc., but this season, there are several lines that have stepped up to the plate to go head to head with the leading brands. Essence, Glamour, Vogue, Allure, and Cosmopolitan have all chosen their top scents, but of them all I've chosen two; Sarah Jessica Parker's new SJP NYC, and Lush's new Gorrilla perfumes line (Imogen Rose, Lust, Smell of Freedom, Orange Blossom, and Tuca Tuca).

These scents are sure to tickle the nostils of any red-blooded man! Leave him wanting more this season with the right scent. I guarantee you he will never forget.

Until next time....*Lovely Ladies*
